2.1. Select appropriate software after considering its impact on the final image.
2.2. Set up any necessary document parameters such as page size, resolution guidelines and grids before starting work on an image.
2.3. Develop new, efficient working methods within the context of digital image making such as: efficient use of layers in Illustrator or Photoshop; consideration of file size; consideration of colour modes etc.
Task 3: Express ideas through digital image making.
3.1. Generate many digital possibilities which are personal and original visual interpretations of the task set.
3.2. Explore composition/structure through concepts such as: the juxtaposition of visual elements, image effects, colour enhancement and transformation commands (i.e. scale, rotate, skew).
Task 4: Produce finished digital images.
4.1. Select an appropriate file format, bearing in mind the proposed context for the digital image such as web page, printed page, and screen.
4.2. Output finished work ensuring correct page set-up specifications and target printer in order to achieve desired effect.
