Materials and Texture Mapping

I started off by unwrapping my object to prepare it for a texture.

Under the shading tab I added a principled setup to the BSDF. This is so all the different texture maps are added to my object.
This is the cube with all the texture maps added.

Creative use of texture

Under the shading tab I added an image texture of a toothpaste box.
I customised the UV unwrap so it fit the dimensions of the toothpaste box.
Final model.
