Special effects

Creating a new composition. Making sure the preset is HDTV 1080 25.

Importing the two video clips I am going to use. Then using the Keylight tool to greenscreen out the background.

Using the shape tool to create a red box with no stroke. I then placed the playhead at the two second mark. Then I did a position animation so that the shape moves from the left of the screen in to position.

Using the text tool to add text to the animation.

Using the whip tool to copy the shape animation to the text.

Finally rendering the animation in after effects.

Final special effects animation.

I feel this animation was successful as I used a number of techniques such as Keylighting to control layers. I also made full use of keyframing when animating shapes and text. Altogether the effects I used made two seperate videos in to a coherent final animation.
