Task 3: Organising Your Portfolio

2.1. Evaluate and order work in a logical sequence so it displays work to its best advantage.

The above menu-tree is how my various menus and submenus were structurally organised. WordPress’s intuitive user interface makes it easy to create these structures. More submenus can be added by placing new pages under and indented below the main menu. To ensure that the main menu cannot be accessed, I have put the menu-tabs as non-navigable links — and only the submenus are navigable.
The above is my initial layout of my portfolio projects. The titles of each project show up when you hover your mouse over them. A more visually pleasing and less distracting way of showcasing my projects.
By the end of the year I added two more projects to my portfolio. One for the various films I have created and one for the Photoshop work. I wish I could reorder the sequence in which the projects appear but unfortunately WordPress is not allowing me to do so.
After speaking to my tutor, I was able to get some clarity on how to change the order of my projects in the portfolio. The trick was to change the date of when the page was published. The most recent page published will appear first with older dates following each other. Above is the ideal order I would like my projects to appear in. My favourite including the stronger and more relevant pieces appearing first, with the others following them.
